বাংলাদেশের শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য দেশে বসেই আন্তর্জাতিক মান সম্পন্ন উচ্চশিক্ষার সুযোগ নিশ্চিত করছে ইউনিভার্সাল কলেজ বাংলাদেশ (ইউসিবি)। এর ধারাবাহিকতায়, এবারে মেধাবি তরুণদের জন্য সাইবার সিকিউরিটি বিষয়ে বিশ্বমানের ব্যাচেলর’স ডিগ্রি অর্জনের সুযোগ তৈরি করেছে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি। যুক্তরাজ্যের খ্যাতনামা শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান ইউনিভার্সিটি অফ সেন্ট্রাল ল্যাঙ্কাশায়ার (ইউসিএলএএন)’এর সাথে বিশেষ অংশীদারিত্বের মাধ্যমে ইউসিবি’র আওতায় দেশের শিক্ষার্থীরা প্রথমবারের মত সাইবার সিকিউরিটি বিষয়ে ৩ বছরের ব্যাচেলর’স ডিগ্রি অর্জন করতে পারবেন। বাংলাদেশের শিক্ষার্থীদের আন্তর্জাতিক মানের শিক্ষায় উচ্চশিক্ষিত করে তোলার উদ্দেশ্যে সাইবার সিকিউরিটি ডিগ্রিটির পূর্ণাঙ্গ নকশা প্রণয়ন করেছে ইউনিভার্সিটি অফ সেন্ট্রাল ল্যাঙ্কাশায়ার। শিক্ষার্থীরা নিজেদের সুবিধা অনুসারে ঢাকায় বসেই পড়াশোনা সম্পন্ন করতে পারবেন, অথবা এক বা দুই বছর যুক্তরাজ্যে থেকে ডিগ্রির কার্যক্রম সম্পন্ন করতে পারবেন। বিশ্বের নানা স্বনামধন্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে উচ্চতর ডিগ্রি অর্জনকারী, এবং ইউসিএলএএন কর্তৃক স্বীকৃত লেকচারারদের তত্ত্বাবধানে এই প্রোগ্রামটি পরিচালিত হবে। সুসজ্জিত ল্যাব ও বিভিন্ন ওয়ার্কশপের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীদের বাস্তবনির্ভর জ্ঞান অর্জন ও হাতে-কলমে প্রশিক্ষণ নিশ্চিত করা হবে, যার মাধ্যমে তারা পরবর্তীতে পেশাদার ক্যারিয়ারে নানা ধরণের চ্যালেঞ্জ মোকাবেলায় পারদর্শী হয়ে উঠবেন। নেটওয়ার্কিংয়ের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীদের ক্যারিয়ারে এগিয়ে থাকার ক্ষেত্রে ল্যাঙ্কাশায়ার সাইবার পার্টনারশিপ (এলসিপি) এবং ন্যাশনাল সাইবার ফোর্স (এনসিএফ)’এর সাথে ইউসিএলএএন’এর অংশীদারিত্ব বিশেষ ভূমিকা রাখবে। সাইবার সিকিউরিটি প্রোগ্রামে ব্যাচেলর’স ডিগ্রি অর্জনকারী শিক্ষার্থীরা আগামীতে সাইবার সিকিউরিটি অ্যানালিস্ট, পেনেট্রেশন টেস্টার, নেটওয়ার্ক সিকিউরিটি ইঞ্জিনিয়ার, ডিজিটাল ফরেনসিকস ইনভেস্টিগেটর, ইনফরমেশন সিকিউরিটি কনসালটেন্ট-সহ বিভিন্ন পেশায় নিজেদের সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত করে তুলতে পারবেন। “বিশ্ববাজারে সাইবার সিকিউরিটি খাতে দক্ষ মানবসম্পদের ব্যাপক চাহিদা রয়েছে”, বলেন ইউসিবি’র প্রেসিডেন্ট ও প্রভোস্ট প্রফেসর হিউ গিল। “আন্তর্জাতিক মানের শিক্ষা ও উচ্চ বেতনের চাকরি অর্জনের প্রতিযোগিতায় বাংলাদেশের তরুণরা যেন এগিয়ে থাকেন, তা নিশ্চিতের লক্ষ্যে আমরা দেশেই ইউকে ডিগ্রি’র সুযোগ তৈরি করেছি। বিশ্বের যেকোনো দেশের আইটি খাতে চাকরির যোগ্যতা অর্জনে ইউকে’র এই সাইবার সিকিউরিটি ডিগ্রি তাদের জন্য বেশ সহায়ক হবে”। ইউসিএলএএন’এর অধীনে সাইবার সিকিউরিটি ডিগ্রি প্রোগ্রামে ভর্তি কার্যক্রম ইতোমধ্যে শুরু হয়েছে, এবং জানুয়ারির শেষ পর্যন্ত ভর্তি চালু থাকবে। আগামী ১৪ জানুয়ারি থেকে প্রোগ্রামের ক্লাস শুরু হতে যাচ্ছে। এইচএসসি, এ-লেভেলস ও সমমানের শিক্ষা সম্পন্নকারীরা ইউসিবি’র অধীনে সাইবার সিকিউরিটি ছাড়াও বিজনেস, মার্কেটিং ও সফটওয়্যার ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিষয়ে যুক্তরাজ্যে পড়াশোনা করতে পারেন। উল্লেখ্য, ওয়ার্ল্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি র‍্যাঙ্কিংস ২০২৩ অনুসারে বিশ্বের শীর্ষ শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের তালিকায় সেরা ৭ শতাংশের মধ্যে রয়েছে ইউনিভার্সিটি অফ সেন্ট্রাল ল্যাঙ্কাশায়ার। যুক্তরাজ্যের অন্যতম বৃহৎ এই প্রতিষ্ঠানটিতে বিশ্বের ১০০রও বেশি দেশের প্রায় ৪২ হাজার শিক্ষার্থী পড়াশোনা করছেন। বিশ্বের ১২৩টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের সাথে ইউসিএলএএন’এর অংশীদারিত্ব রয়েছে। ইউসিবি’র অধীনে ইউসিএলএএন ডিগ্রি প্রসঙ্গে আরো বিস্তারিত জানতে ভিজিট করুন – https://ucbbd.org/bsc-cyber-security/.   Published in: Saradin
