Entry Requirements

For entry into the Universal International Foundation Year (UIFY) for Higher Education Studies, Students must meet the following entry requirements:

Completed their GCSE/IGCSE ‘O’ Levels or an equivalent* qualification in their own country and passed 5 subjects with minimum grades of ‘C’, ‘4’ or equivalent* in each. These should include Mathematics and English

HSC with an overall average of 50% with passes in four or more subjects (including Maths and English) ( GPA – 3.0 and above)

IB Diploma students with 24 marks

Completed and passed all 4 components of the GED High School Equivalency Credential.

Have a valid score of 4.5 or above in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination or equivalent for students whose first language is not English. Alternatively, students can take the free NCC Education Standard English Placement Test which is administered by our Accredited Partner Centres.

What are the visiting hours?

You are welcome to visit our campus in Gulshan 1 with your parents from Sunday to Thursday between 9am to 6pm. You can also visit our campus on Friday and Saturday by booking an appointment a day before.

What are the available range of fields in NCC?

We offer pathways in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Health Sciences, and related subjects. One can choose from a range of fields of study and specialize in their areas of interest.

How long does the UCB International Foundation Program (UIFY) last?

The UCB International Foundation Program (UIFY) is nine months long.

How are the students assessed?

We follow the assessment criteria specific for UIFY which includes:

Global Assignment
Local Exams

How is the teaching conducted? Online or offline?

Teaching is conducted through offline classes, but in case of sudden nationwide occurrences, classes are held online.

Can I transfer only to the guaranteed universities or other listed universities as well?

Yes. If you have completed the International Foundation Program, then you can transfer to the universities that are offering guaranteed placement. You can also apply for admission to all the listed universities based on your results/grades in the UIFY.

When does the program start?

We offer 4 intakes a year. Below are the intake dates for 2024.
