উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে এসটিএস গ্রুপের চেয়ারম্যান বব কুন্দানমাল বলেন, “বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার সহযোগিতার কারণেই দেশে বসে আন্তর্জাতিক শিক্ষাগ্রহণের নতুন যুগের সূচনা করতে পেরেছে এসটিএস গ্রুপ। মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রীর দূরদৃষ্টি এবং অনুমোদনের কারণেই এখন দেশে বসে বিদেশের শিক্ষাগ্রহণ অর্জন করা সম্ভব হবে, যা টেকসই উন্নয়ন লক্ষ্যমাত্রা পূরণ করার পাশাপাশি ২০৪১ সালের মধ্যে বাংলাদেশের উচ্চআয়ের রাষ্ট্রে পরিণত হওয়ার যে জাতীয় লক্ষ্য, তার অংশ হিসেবে উচ্চ-প্রবৃদ্ধি বজায় রাখতে বিশেষ ভূমিকা রাখবে।”
